DELIVERY SERVICE

We pride ourselves on been both proactive & reactive to our customers’ requirements. Our performance standard for the delivery of reconditioned pallets is within 36 hours of receipt of order. Newly manufactured pallets we can supply within 4 working days.

If heat treatment is required you should add 2 days to those delivery times. We also understand that you can unexpectedly run out of pallets and may require an emergency delivery. Thanks to connections with our sister company, Spavins City Express, we can fulfil that emergency order in just a few short hours.

HEAT TREATMENT

We offer a heat treatment service to our customers for both new & reconditioned pallets. All pallets are branded with our unique Forestry Commission approved brand (rubber stamping is no longer acceptable for security reasons) and an original certificate is provided with each batch.

The rules relating to the heat treatment of pallets does not apply to exports within the EU. However from the feed back we are receiving from our customers, is that even for exports within the EU their customers are asking for this service.

This is primarily because the next user, your customer, is exporting to countries outside the EU. By having pallets heat treated at source your customers save on both packaging & re-packaging costs. This could be an opportunity for you to secure added value with your product!

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

For the past 5 years we have operated a “non-landfill” environmental policy. This policy has been audited and approved by all our customers who are either ISO 9000 or ISO 1400 registered, as part of their cerification requirements. Any pallets received onto our site which are unsuitable for repair and return into service are firstly stripped of their component parts.

Those useful parts which can be recovered are used in the repair of reconditioned pallets. Parts which are unusable are transported to a waste transfer station and subsequently shredded and graded. This waste will then will be used in the manufacture of chipboard, block board, fibreboard, pallet blocks, peat substitute and fuel for agricultural & Industrial wood burning heaters.
